Beginning Ballet
The primary goal of Beginning Ballet is the development of placement and correct ballet technique appropriate for the development of the students’ bodies. Students work at the ballet barre and should have a rudimentary understanding of terminology. The most important task of Beginning Ballet centers around introducing the students to a more strenuous and regimented level of work. This involves physical conditioning, as well as an understanding of the basic deportment and behavioral expectations in a ballet class. Students in Beginning Ballet will further develop their attention span and ability to concentrate while building vocabulary and developing skills. Level completion is determined by the instructional staff.
Eligible male students are able to participate in the Program on full scholarship.
