The Pilates program at North Ballet Academy is an essential supplement to classical ballet training, and also is an excellent area of fitness for just about anyone.

Pilates focuses on the core postural muscles which help keep the body balanced and which are essential to providing support for the spine. In particular, Pilates exercises teach awareness of breath and alignment of the spine, and aim to strengthen the deep torso muscles.

Pilates Mat Class Times:
Thursday: 5:45-6:45pm
Saturday: 12:00-1:00pm

Come sing, dance, and explore instruments from around the world, all while helping your child develop their social, language, and motor skills! It is our heart as licensed dance minister’s to raise up children to learn to worship and minister effectively in the way that God intended us to.  To offer our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God,this is the true and proper worship according to Romans 12:1.  Our class will consist of ballet to teach technique and proper form as well as incorporating prayer and teaching Biblical pricipals in worship and dance. It is our desire that these children not just learn to dance to Christian music but to learn the true heart of God regarding dance ministry.

We are looking to enroll K-6^th grades but we are willing to work with whatever ages God brings us.  Please call if you have children interested outside of this age range.

Classes Held:

Mondays 7:00-8:30pm

Homeschool Class Mondays 2:00-3:30pm

Class times are subject to change pending enrollment.

   $35/month September-April

Classes run September 10th through April 22nd.

Tentative "Evening of Ministry" will be April 26th.

Children will be expected to purchase a garment to be worn during class times as well as a white long sleeve leotard, white tights, and pink ballet slippers (total cost about $60).
