North Ballet Academy

Nutcracker auditions are open to the community!

Students of North Ballet Academy, as well as dancers. gymnasts, actors, actresses, and more from around the community are WELCOME to audition for this year's Nutcracker performance.

EVERYONE must pre-register in order to audition.

Performance Date: December 18, 2010

General Weekly Rehearsal Comittment:
30-60 minutes per week for young dancers, either Friday or Saturday
1-2 hours per week for older dancers (based on roles)

Audition Information:
Saturday, September 11

11:30-1:000pm:
North Ballet Students: Level 3, Level 4 & Teen Recreational Ballet
Non-North Ballet Students: Ages 13 and up

2:00-3:00pm:
North Ballet Students: Level 1 & Level 2
Non-North Ballet Students: Age 8-12

3:00-4:00pm:
North Ballet Students: Pre-Ballet 1, Pre-Ballet 2, CM 2, CM 3
Non-North Ballet Students: Age 5-7

4:00-5:00pm:
Actors, Gymnasts and other non-dancers

* Children ages 3-4 do not need to audition but must be enrolled in a North Ballet Academy Creative Movement class in order to participate in Nutcracker.  (They will be Angels and will rehearse during class time).

* 2 Excused absences allowed, 2 Mandatory Rehearsals in December, must be present to perform

* Participation Fee:
  North Ballet Students: $30
  Non-North Ballet students: $50

* Required fundraiser:
Each participant will be required to sell 12 Raffle Tickets for a cost of $5/ticket

Due to popular request, and to address full classes, we are happy to announce the addition of TWO new Creative Movement class options!

Creative Movement 1/2/3 (age 3-6):
Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm

Creative Movement 3 (age 5-6):
Thursday 4:30-5:30pm

Also, a new Yoga Flow class has been added on Wednesday evenings from 7:30-8:30pm.  Only $37/month!
